He has earned the GAMA Bronze Award and helped build a unit of 17 agents from scratch in just over two years.

Mike’s strategic insights have been shaped by advanced coaching and planning programs including Dan Sullivan’s Strategic Coach, Don Blanton’s Money Trax, and Art Sanger’s Wealth Building Cornerstones. He is Leap Licensed and has maintained a 43+ year membership with NAIFA, where he also served as LUPAC Chair in Sacramento.

At Matador, Mike plays a key role in advisor development, business strategy, and client engagement—bringing wisdom, mentorship, and a deep belief in protecting families and creating generational wealth. His military background as a 1st Lt. in the USAF Reserves, combined with his academic roots in Political Science and Psychology, reflect his lifelong commitment to service and leadership.

Outside of Matador, Mike is a dedicated family man—happily married to Claudia, with twin daughters in college and two adult daughters. He enjoys golf, biking, softball, and community service. He currently serves as President of his HOA and has previously contributed his time as a Rotarian, Knights of Columbus Advisor, and Sacramento Food Bank Advisor.
